LOREX LR-PBG Green Emergency Exit Button, EXIT Marked

The LOREX LR-PBG push-and-release emergency exit button is used to unlock a locking mechanism in access control systems (typically a Maglock or a Fail Safe lock). In an emergency, it momentarily cuts power to the lock power supply, drops the lock and enables people to exit.

The emergency exit button is designed in green to clearly differentiate it from fire and intruder alarm call points. Green is a widely recognised colour for access control emergency exit buttons.

When the button is pressed and released, the NO and NC contacts change state momentarily; once the button is released, the contacts return to their original state.

NO/NC Contact Output

The LOREX LR-PBG green emergency exit button features both NO (Normally Open) and NC (Normally Closed) contacts, allowing easy integration with different systems. This versatile contact structure enables the button to be connected to both security and access control systems and to control door locking mechanisms. For example, you can route one circuit to the lock release function and the other to an alarm/monitoring input to manage emergency exit and security monitoring at the same time. As a result, the LOREX LR-PBG offers broad compatibility and easy integration with various systems.

Minimal Design

The compact body makes installation easier in tight spaces and on exit doors.
