C-TEC EVC401-PH Roaming Fire Telephone Handset
The C-TEC EVC401-PH roaming fire telephone handset is used for two-way communication during emergencies.
Where regulations allow and project cost reduction is important, wall-mounted jack plates can be installed at critical points instead of using a metal cabinet fire telephone at every location. Emergency personnel can then communicate using a portable emergency telephone handset (EVC401-PH) together with the installed wall jack plates (EVC301/JP). Up to 20 wall connection points can be connected on a single line. As soon as fire personnel plug the handset into the nearest wall jack plate (EVC301/JP), an emergency call is initiated and communication can begin. Only one roaming fire telephone handset (EVC401-PH) can be used on the same line at any one time. Compared to cabinet-style telephones, this solution can significantly reduce overall project cost.
