ECU722 SigTEL Network Communication Card
The ECU722 is an optional network expansion card used in SigTEL systems. It allows up to 14 ECU-4, ECU-8, ECU-16 or ECU-8NT SigTEL controllers to be interconnected and operated as a single system.
One ECU722 card is required for each networked SigTEL controller. This architecture allows systems of up to 224 lines (14 × ECU-16) to be configured easily. In addition, any ECU-4, ECU-8 or ECU-16 controller can take control of the system at any time by entering a special code.
Important Note: If you need to network a controller fitted with an optional ECU-224 desk controller, an ECU723 interface/network card must be used instead of an ECU722.
General Features
- Optional system expansion device for interlinking SigTEL controllers.
- Allows up to 14 ECU-4 / ECU-8 / ECU-16 / ECU-8NT controllers to be networked together.
- One ECU722 card is required for each networked controller.
- Allows systems of up to 224 lines (14 × ECU-16) to be set up quickly and easily.
- Any ECU-4 / ECU-8 / ECU-16 can take control of the system at any time by entering a special code.
- Controllers without handsets are available for projects that do not require multiple control points (ECU-8NT).
- If a controller fitted with an ECU-224 desk unit is to be networked, ECU723 must be used instead of ECU722.
