Overview

The Orisec XD2 Series is designed primarily for intruder alarm applications in outdoor environments. This detector range combines adjustable detection range and angle with two separate PIR detectors in a robust IP65 waterproof sealed housing, offering reliable external protection together with strong resistance to nuisance alarms caused by animals.

The range includes XD2 and XD2-DT. Both models provide 40 kg animal immunity, selectable EOL resistors for alarm panels, NO/NC relay outputs for CCTV and lighting, switched negative alarm and LUX outputs, built-in walk test sounder, optional wireless walk test fob support, day/night sensor, 1.8 m to 2.0 m mounting height and adjustable detection range between 2 m and 12 m. The XD2-DT version additionally combines twin PIR detection with 24 GHz microwave technology for dual technology confirmation.
