Overview

The Orisec XD1 Series is a range of external perimeter detection detectors designed for use with intruder alarm panels, CCTV and lighting applications. Developed for outdoor security environments, the series combines robust environmental protection with flexible positioning, programmable outputs and dependable day and night operation.

The range includes XD1, XD1-DT and XD1-LR. All models are BS 8418 CCTV compliant, feature adjustable pan and tilt, and are supplied in an IP65 waterproof sealed housing. The datasheet also lists support for NO/NC relay outputs for CCTV and lighting, selectable EOL resistors for alarm panels, switched negative alarm and LUX outputs, day/night sensing, and optional wireless walk test integration. The XD1-DT adds dual technology microwave (24GHz) / PIR, while the XD1-LR is optimized for long-range 35 m coverage.

Series Highlights

• 100° Adjustable Coverage: coverage angle may be adjusted over 180° by rotating the chassis.
• Adjustable Vertical Angle: PCB angle can be adjusted from 0° to 45° to alter PIR range and suit mounting height or sloping ground.
• Removable PCB Assembly: detector assembly may be removed from the backplate for easier installation.
• Adjustable Wall Tamper: supports tamper protection in external environments.
• Optional Dual Technology: available on XD1-DT with microwave sensing.
• Optional Wireless Access Point: adds wireless connectivity to a wired device for wireless integration and walk testing.
