OP-6510 Through-Counter Speech Transfer System
The OP-6510 Through-Counter Speech Transfer System is a powerful bidirectional window intercom solution designed to improve speech communication at ticket counters, reception desks and service points fitted with perspex or glazed screens.
By making conversations clearer and easier for both staff and visitors, the OP-6510 helps maintain social distancing while supporting accessible communication for all people, including users wearing face masks. Its full duplex sound quality allows natural two-way conversation, while DSP (Digital Signal Processing) helps optimise audio performance in real counter environments.
Key Features
- Bidirectional Through-Counter Communication: supports clearer speech transfer through perspex or glazed counter screens.
- Full Duplex Sound Quality: enables more natural two-way conversation between operator and end user.
- Accessibility Support: helps make ticket counters, reception desks and screened service areas more accessible.
- Social Distancing Friendly: improves communication without removing the physical screen barrier.
- Hearing Loop Compatibility: can be paired with PDA103C or ML1 hearing loop amplifiers to broadcast audio directly to compatible hearing aids.
- Three Scene Settings: noisy, standard and quiet scene options help match the system to the installation environment.
- Optional Recording Output: analog output allows conversations to be recorded when additional recording equipment is used.
- DSP Audio Processing: Digital Signal Processing supports improved audio clarity and performance.
Designed for Screened Service Points
OP-6510 is suitable for locations where a physical barrier separates staff and visitors. It is particularly useful where normal speech may be reduced by glass, perspex, distance, background noise or face coverings.
- Ticket counters
- Reception desks
- Information desks
- Payment counters
- Healthcare reception points
- Public service and customer service windows
Operator Interface and Controls
The operator interface provides practical controls and status indication for day-to-day use. According to the datasheet, the system includes indicators for network status, intercom on, voice broadcast on and recording on.
Control buttons are provided for voice broadcast, intercom and recording. Please note that recording functionality requires additional equipment.
Hearing Loop Integration
For accessibility-focused installations, the OP-6510 can be easily paired with a PDA103C or ML1 hearing loop amplifier. This allows the audio signal to be broadcast directly to a compatible hearing aid, helping users with hearing assistance needs communicate more comfortably at counters and reception points.
