LOREX LR-FB2016B Fire Blanket with Hard Box (200cm x 160cm)
Overview
The LOREX LR-FB2016B is an extra-large fire blanket supplied in a durable hard box, designed to smother small fires quickly at the source— especially cooking-related flare-ups where immediate action can prevent escalation. Compared to 200cm x 150cm boxed blankets, the 200cm x 160cm size provides additional width for improved edge-to-edge coverage and overlap on larger equipment, broader counters, and wider cooking zones.
The rigid wall-mount hard box keeps the blanket protected, clean, and ready for instant deployment. Pull the release tabs, remove the blanket in one motion, and place it over the flames to cut off oxygen. Fire blankets are typically single-use items; after any use, replace the blanket to ensure reliable protection.
Key Benefits (200x160cm Larger Coverage)
• Larger 200cm x 160cm coverage for wider equipment and broader cooking zones versus 200cm x 150cm boxed blankets
• Added width improves edge-to-edge smothering and overlap—helps reduce uncovered flame areas
• Ideal for larger cooktops, catering counters, prep stations and compact equipment fires
• Hard rigid box keeps the blanket clean, protected and ready-to-use in high-risk zones (commercial kitchens, canteens, production areas)
• Quick-release pull tabs for rapid deployment under pressure
• Fire-resistant, non-flammable fiberglass fabric with heat resistance up to 550°C (EN 1869)
• Clean first response—no chemicals, no powder, no residue after smothering
Safety note: If a fire grows rapidly, produces heavy smoke, or cannot be controlled immediately, evacuate and call emergency services.

Recommended Applications
The LR-FB2016B is recommended for environments where wider surfaces and larger equipment require maximum first-response coverage:
• Commercial kitchens, canteens and catering lines with large cooktops and wide counters
• Food production, prep stations and service areas where equipment coverage must be fast and effective
• Restaurants and industrial catering facilities using larger pans, grills and compact cooking equipment
• Warehouses, workshops and utility rooms requiring clean, residue-free first-response fire equipment
• Boats, yachts and marine galleys where extra width improves control in confined spaces
• Facility management areas where a larger blanket improves first-response versatility across multiple zones
Hard Box Advantage
The solid hard box helps keep the fire blanket in excellent condition during storage and reduces the risk of contamination, moisture exposure, or accidental damage. This makes the LR-FB2016B ideal for visible wall mounting near cooking and heat sources— ensuring it can be grabbed and deployed immediately when needed.
