Context Plus CP-400SB 24V Fire Alarm Sounder

Context Plus CP-400SB is a 24V DC fire alarm sounder designed to communicate the alarm condition on site. In the event of fire alarm activation, it alerts people to an emergency situation and supports safe, fast and orderly evacuation of the building.

The Context Plus CP-400SB fire alarm sounder is a red piezo sounder for conventional fire alarm applications. It is used to provide clear acoustic warning when the fire alarm system enters alarm condition.

With 32 selectable tones, a 21.6-28V DC operating range and 106dB sound output at 1 metre, CP-400SB is suitable for fire alarm notification and evacuation warning in commercial, industrial and public buildings.

The product features a red ABS plastic case, compact circular design and IP33 rating. Its low alarm current of 11mA at 24V helps designers manage fire alarm sounder circuits more efficiently.

Installation and Usage Notes

The CP-400SB should be installed according to the fire alarm project design, sounder circuit calculations and local fire alarm installation practices. The selected tone should match the evacuation strategy and the overall fire alarm system configuration.

The low current consumption of 11mA at 24V helps reduce the load on alarm circuits. However, the total number of sounders, cable length, voltage drop and power supply capacity should always be checked during system design.

The product should be installed by qualified fire alarm professionals. After installation, the sounder output, selected tone, circuit supervision and alarm activation should be tested as part of system commissioning.
