C-TEC EVC301-JP Fire Telephone Jack Plate
The C-TEC EVC301-JP Fire Telephone Jack Plate is designed for use with the C-TEC EVC401-PH portable fire telephone handset.
Where regulations allow, wall-mounted jack plates (EVC301-JP) can be installed at key points instead of fixed metal-cabinet fire telephones in order to reduce project costs. Emergency personnel can carry the portable fire telephone handset (EVC401-PH) and plug it into these connection points whenever communication is required.
Up to 20 wall jack plates can be connected on a single line. When emergency personnel plug the handset into the nearest wall connector, the system automatically initiates an emergency call and enables communication.
Only one portable fire telephone handset can be used on the same line at any one time. Compared to cabinet-type fire telephones, this solution can significantly reduce overall installation costs.
This product is generally intended for use in Middle Eastern and Far Eastern countries where roaming handsets are accepted. UK Standard BS 5839-9 does not permit the use of these devices. The product is CE certified.
