C-TEC C4408DR Relay Base With Diode
Overview
The C-TEC C4408DR Relay Base With Diode is designed for use with C-TEC’s full range of ActiV fire detectors, including smoke, heat and multisensor models. It provides an integrated relay output for general purpose switching applications and is suitable for conventional fire alarm installations where a diode relay base is required.
This base includes a 1A at 24V DC relay controlled by the detector’s remote LED output, allowing it to interface with a wide variety of external systems. It is ideal for switching CCTV, security, SCADA, PLC and door retaining systems, while also offering easy installation, remote LED terminals and compatibility with intruder alarm panels when used as a fire-triggering interface.

Product Highlights
The C4408DR is intended for projects where a conventional fire detector needs to provide an isolated switching output for auxiliary control or system interfacing. It can also be connected in a similar way to a PIR or magnetic door contact on a dedicated fire zone or spare intruder alarm panel zone.
