C-TEC BF320 24V BS 5446-3 Vibrating Pillow Pad

C-TEC BF320 is a vibrating pillow pad designed to warn hearing impaired users of a potential fire alarm or evacuation alert condition. When connected to a compatible BF320JP connection plate, the pad vibrates and pulses on and off when triggered, in accordance with the requirements of BS 5446-3 (2015).

The unit is designed to be placed under a pillow to supplement the audible and/or visual alarm indication provided by a building’s sounders and/or VADs. This makes it a practical life-safety solution for hotel rooms, accessible accommodation, care environments and other areas where additional warning for the hard of hearing is required.

Thanks to its wide 10-30V DC operating voltage range, the BF320 can also be connected to many third-party connector plates, subject to testing. It includes a 2 metre connection lead with a locking mini-XLR connector to help prevent accidental disconnection, and it also includes a 6K8 end-of-line monitoring resistor for fire alarm system use.

The BF320 supersedes the older BF363 pillow pad, offering a modern and compliant option for accessible fire alarm notification applications.
